Crown Japanese Spring Festival

Reiho Ikebana participated at the Crown Japanese Spring Festival on 26th & 27th November 2016 from 11 am to 11 pm. The display of eight arrangements at the Art & Craft marquee was a showcase of Japanese culture at the festival. The variety of arrangements were created by Pascal, Haobo, Chiemi, Tina, Janaka, Fiona, Giselle and myself. Visitors were delighted and gave us the excellent feedback. The  demonstration was held twice daily  and free Ikebana workshop was also conducted three times. They were very much appreciated. Prior to the festival, the Channel 10 Weather man, Mike Larkin introduced the Crown Japanese Spring Festival to the TV audience. I wore blue kimono and helped to promote the festival with Taiko drummers and other kimono ladies. We had 5 minutes fame on 23rd November around 5 pm on Channel 10.
